SELECT
You will find Select in the "C" directory and this utility allows
you a choice of Boot sequences ( I think it's nine).
For example:
You would type at the beginning of your startup sequence
select and then the names of the executable files you wish to
run..
select (name of executable file#1 #2 #3 #4.. etc)
The name of each script file should reside in your "S" directory
and contain a list of commands which will be executed..
For example: your "S" directory may look like this:
Startup-sequence
SCRIPT FILE #1
SCRIPT FILE #2
The commands used in each script file could be as follows:
SCRIPT FILE #1
------------
setclock load
Virusx3.2
SCRIPT FILE #2
---------
echo "OK. Loading you a workbench..."
loadwb
echo "I'll leave this CLI window open in case you need it."
echo "Assign,Avail,CD,Delete,Dir,Endcli,Execute,info,list,"
echo "Newcli and Type are available from here."
echo "Please use the sizing gadget and drag bar to position"
echo "the Cli window where you want it on the W.B. screen"
or whatever commands you want executed or programs run.
Startup-sequence
----------------
select SCRIPTFILE #1 SCRIPTFILE #2
I'm sorry if this Doc is not clear but I didn't write the utility and no
docs were available..Please contact me if you need more help with this..
